Apollo Mission Control
There are a ton of historical landmarks in Texas, such as the Alamo, Apollo mission control, USS Lexington, USS Texas, the missions, etc. One of the most known landmarks is the Apollo mission control. Mission Control is located In Houston. During the first space shuttle launch the saying “ Houston we have a problem “ was created. The Mission Control was built in 1963. Although it is not used anymore, it stands as a museum. To your right is a picture of how the astronauts train when they land.

Uss ShipsUSS Lexington is located in Corpus Christi. There are a lot of tours you can do and you can even sleep on board. There are five decks, the flight deck, Foc’sle, the gallery deck, lower decks, and the hangar deck. USS Texas is the last remaining battle ship from both world war l and world war ll. It is located in LaPorte Texas.

The Alamo & San Antonio River WalkThe Alamo is the most known landmark in Texas. The Alamo is 272 years old, therefore making it be built in 1744. It is next to the San Antonio River Walk. The river walk stretches over 5 miles, it has parallel sidewalks along the river. There are a lot of restaurants, bars, and stores along it. You can even take a boat tour and go down the river, they also serve dinner. They host over 20 events each year.
